Dr. Angelo Banzi – ALL ON FOUR WITH GUIDED SURGERY

Performing guided surgery with an All on Four treatment plan makes the process easier from a surgical point of view as the anatomical conformation of the maxillary sinuses can sometimes be difficult to visualize. This clinical case has an anatomical conformation that did not allow for the insertion of the vestibular fixing pins. We therefore used the implant sleeve to insert two crestal pins in the frontal area to hold the surgical template in place while fixing the two distal implants.

A complex case with 3 templates: we placed the first template to prepare the holes for the lateral pins; the second template is positioned to reshape the bone based on the contact points; the third template is provided with the implant sleeves to guide the instruments to perform the osteotomies and the placement of the implants.
