DAY 1
Dr. Claudio BANZI
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1980 at the University of Bologna he has specialized in odontostomatology at the University of Modena in 1985.
In 1985 he began his career as a freelancer by opening the Banzi Dental Practice
in the center of Pieve di Cento (BO).
For over 25 years, he has been working with passion in the dental field, so much so that he established and became scientific manager of B. & B. Dental, with which he created the Dura-vit implant line and some European patents on bone regeneration materials for the maxillo facial district. National and international speaker on advanced implantology techniques and author of national publications on implantology and reconstructive issues. All this makes it the main point of reference in the surgical sector with particular attention to Implantology and Dental Prosthetics.
Prof. Nicola DISCEPOLI
He graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthesis in 2003, at the University of Siena, with honors. He obtained the title of the Board of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) in 2011. In the same year he obtained the M.Sc in Periodontology and Implantology at the Complutense University of Madrid (Madrid, Spain). In 2016 he obtained the Ph.D (PhD) degree from the Complutense University (Madrid, Spain). Former lecturer at the University of Florence, he is currently Associate Professor in Periodontology at the Degree course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics and at the degree course in Dental Hygiene at the University of Siena. He holds the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Medical Biotechnology, University of Siena. Lecturer at Complutense University of Madrid, Madrid Spain. Active member of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SIdP). He is actively involved in clinical research.
Dr. Luigi Angelo VAIRA
Maxillofacial surgeon at the University Hospital of Sassari. PhD student in biomedical sciences at the University of Sassari. Author of more than 90 scientific publications in international journals.
Dr. Marco ROY
Dr. Marco Roy has the title of title of DDS in 2013 Poznan University of Medical Sciences English Program and he also is an Assistant, Prosthodontic Dep. Poznan University of Medical Sciences since 2014. Dr. Roy is practicing as Implantologist in Poznan and Pisa and he is owner of a dental office specialized in dental implantology and general dentistry in Pisa. He is author of scientific articles published on international journals and he has a PhD in the field of dental implantology. He is co- founder and leader of PUMS students research group Best Science research team award 2017. He has participated to ICOI 2019 in Sri Lanka with a lecture on pterygo implants and digital workflow. World dental council granted the award for leading implantologist of the year 2019 He is member of IADR (International Association Of Dental Research), ICP (International College Of Prosthodontics) and CAI Academy (Computer Aided Implantology Academy) and ICOI (International Congress Of Oral Implantologists). He has obtained the ICOI fellowship and the EAO certificate in 2020.
Dr. Andrew HALL
Dr Andrew Hall. BDS. FDS RCS. Oxfordshire, United Kingdom – he has been placing and restoring implants for over 30 years. Â He was formerly a lecturer in Restorative dentistry at the University of Bristol before moving in to private practice. Â His practice is limited to implant dentistry and he is a keen advocate of digital dentistry and guided implant placement, Â In his presentation he will look at the design features of the implants and explain why it has become his system of choice.
Dr. Ahmed Halim AYOUB
Visiting Lecturer in Bari university, Italy. His Diploma and Master Degrees is from Seville University, Spain. He developed expertise in bone augmentation and sinus elevation. He has a special interest in bone healing, the role of growth factors and bone morphogenetic proteins in bone growth. Dr. Halim is also highly interested in Dental Implant Education and developed his pioneer modules using Live training throughout directing dental implant post graduate training in Egyptian society of oral implantology, London oral restorative Academy, and London dental education services. Dr. Halim is a distinguished speaker; he presents at international conferences and teaches in the Rome, Europe, and the Middle East.
DAY 2
Dr. Brad HAWKINS
Dr Hawkins has a wealth of dental experience since qualifying in 2005 from University of Birmingham. He was a mentor to Foundation Dentists since 2009, a clinical lecturer to undergraduate dentists 2008-2014, clinical educator for Student hygienist and achieved a Masters degree in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry 2015. Dr Hawkins focuses on tailoring every treatment plan to the patient, to be the most cost effective and streamlined it can be. Main areas of practice are: Dental implants – ranging from single teeth, bridges, implant retained dentures, full arch bridges and All on 4 same day teeth. Bone grafting and sinus lift procedures.
Smile makeovers using a combination of Invisalign, teeth whitening, composite bonding and porcelain veneers.
Mr. Alan BROOM
Alan started his dental career in 1990 where he graduated in London, working in private laboratories in London and Essex.
He then went on to study clinical dentistry in Toronto from 1998 to 2002 after which he graduated with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In 2003 he was offered the position of Chief Dental Technician for the Cayman Island Government which he carried out until returning to the UK.
In 2006 he started his own practice in Billericay which he built up with an excellent reputation for removable prosthetics (dentures) and Alans special interest in Dental Implant restorations.
He has participated in many prestigious courses around the world. It is Alans goal to improve his knowledge constantly throughout his career. Alan has a great reputation for putting patients at ease as soon as they walk through the door.
In 2020 Alan sold his practice to Together Dental so that he can spend more time practicing and teaching dentistry and less with the admin work which was consuming him before the sale.
Away from work Alan likes to spend time with his wife and children travelling and where possible scuba diving and also the odd round of golf.
Dr. Francisco LAITA BALDA
He has been a general dentist and implantologist for over 13 years in which he performed the surgical insertion and the prosthetic load of the implants acquiring knowledge in both fields. Â Currently he is taking care of the design and execution of complex cases through 3D Guided Surgery with immediate loading developing the workflow followed by his clinics in Spain. Â He is becoming passionate in the design and execution of implantology treatments, all on four and fixed prostheses with 3D guided technique.
Prof. Antonio D’ADDONA
Prof. D’Addona is a post doc in oral surgery at the “La Sapienza” University – Rome and a post doc in advanced peridontology at the University of Southern California – Los Angeles – USA.
He is currently a member of the Diplomate American Academy of Periodontology and covers the charge of ordinary Professor in oral surgery at the Catholic Univeristy – Rome. He is author of several papers on international and national scientific journals and has a practice in which he operates in the fields of periodontology, implantology and oral surgery.
Dr. Bassem Nabil Mohammed EL FAHL
Dr Bassem obtained his bachelor degree of Dental Sciences from Faculty of Dentistry – Tanta University, Egypt, year 2008. He worked as a demonestrator in Periodontology Department in same Faculty. He got his master degree in Implantology with thesis discussing implant placement in soft bone cases and Doctor degree in implant placement in severe bone loss cases and periodontally involved teeth. Dr Bassem is a Periodontology lecturer in the faculty of dentistry, Tanta & MUST University since 2018. He worked as Head of Workshop Committee in Tanta Implant Training Courses from 2011 till now. He occupies the Supervisor on the Continuous Dental Education Committee in Dental Public Service Center, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University since 2018. He is one of the clinical advisors of Genova Oral Implantology Fellowship in MUST University, Egypt. He practiced Oral Implantology from 11 years. Dr Bassem is a speaker in national and international conferences inside and outside Egypt. He performed many workshops and courses in oral implantology and Periodontology and teached many candidates.
Dr. Matteo BALDINI
He has graduated with honors from the University of Florence where he has been tutoring for 5 years. He is the author of several scientific articles in national and international journals of the prosthetic field.
Dr. Mohammad ABUALHAJ
He is currently working as a consultant in prosthodontics and dental implantology and is a member of the American Dental Board.Â
Dr. Abualhaj is a member of Faculty of Dentistry of Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. He has obtained a Master’s Degree in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, University of Jordan and is member of  the Jordanian Board of Prosthodontics. He is a Part-time lecturer in Jordan University of Science and Technology. He is also and international speaker in aesthetic and dental implantology.
